St. Xavier’s CMI Bhavan, Botad

St. Xavier CMI Bhavan began its mission in a rented building in March 2000, with Fr. Rejimon Kallamullil serving as the first resident priest. In July 2002, the residence was relocated to the school building by Fr. Vinod Kanattu. The present building was blessed by Fr. Jose Kuzhichalil on December 8, 2013. Fr. Thomas Cheerenkunnel currently serves as the Superior.

St. Xavier School (ESTD. 2000)
In December 1999, eight acres of land were acquired on Khas Road at Botad for establishing St. Xavier School. The school commenced operations in June 2000 in a rented building at Moti Vadi, with Fr. Rejimon Kallamullil as its first Principal. He was succeeded by Fr. Vinod Kanattu, Fr. Paul Kalathiparampil, Fr. Joyce Aryasseril, Fr. Jilson Mathasseril, Fr. Jose Thumbelettu, Fr. Vinod Poovakkottu, Fr. Joseph Kallampallil, and Fr. Abraham Kizhakkekkuttu. On July 8, 2004, the school moved to its newly constructed campus. It was elevated to the status of a Higher Secondary School in 2012. Today, the institution boasts a beautiful, well-equipped campus with state-of-the-art facilities, earning recognition as one of the leading educational institutions in the region. Fr. Santhosh Kizhakkethil currently serves as the principal. Fr. Thomas Cheerenkunnel is the Bursar and Superior of the CMI House, and Fr. Lijo Kubulumoittil serves as a teacher and a member of the community.
